Pricing
The fees we must charge depend on a complex and sometimes unpredictable set of circumstances. These include driving distance to your venue, time of day and date of your event, holiday season, geographic location, and mny others. The difficulty and costs of transportation are generally the same regardless of the event duration you have planned. For that reason, our fees are usually about the same for a one hour event as for a three hour event. We normally will not play for more than four hours.
Depending on transportation costs and the other factors mentioned above, the base fee for the Robert Holts Orchestra is $3600. The base fee for Ninefold is $1500 and the base fee for The Hats is $600. These are working figures and may be negotiable.
The following conditions may also apply:
- The entire performance shall be copyright Robert Holts Productions unless otherwise contractually stated. No images or audio may be captured by any media without prior approval by the band manager except for private use only.
- A non-refundable deposit of 10% may be required at the time the contract is signed. The remaining amount due is payable before the downbeat of the performance.
- The band must have access to the band stand area at least 4 hours before and after the performance for load in and load out. An adequate parking area must also be provided for band transportation vehicles and trailers.
- An unobstructed path must be provided for access/egress to/from the performance area.
- Access to adequate, common grounded electrical power must be provided.
- A “green room” or similar area must be available for instrument warm-up, instrument case storage, and simple costume changes by our vocalists.
- The band stand area must be structurally sound and no less than 20′ deep by 25′ wide for the Robert Holts Orchesra. The two smaller combos may be able to play in a smaller area.
- The band will provide all audio equipment, music stands, and music stand lights needed for its performance, but some lighting of the performance area may be required from the venue.
- A small area, approximately 4′ x 4′, is requested (but not required) for the purpose of promoting the band. This should include a small table with any theme appropriate decorations. The band will provide flyers, postcards, business cards, sign up sheets and other promotional material and the band may offer CD’s and videos for sale.
